August 13, 1962 - Dick Fortenberry on the cover of Sports Illustrated after winning 1st place Overall in the Americas Cup. Fortenberry was the first USAPT member to win the Cup, although team mates Jim Pearson [1959] and Loy Brydon 1960] had won the cup while members of the USA Sport Parachute Team.
